Notify Doctor is developed by Andrea Ferendeles. It helps you understand Android notification-delivery settings.
Data processed on your device
If you explicitly enable Android notification access, Notify Doctor processes locally only the metadata needed for diagnostics: source app package and display name, notification time, channel identifier and delivery state. It does not persist notification titles, message text, people, images or other notification content. It does not use Accessibility services.
Retention, reports and deletion
Raw diagnostic event metadata is deleted automatically after 24 hours. Aggregated daily counts may remain on the device to show reliability trends. Reports and exports contain only device information, app names, findings and confidence; never notification content. You can delete all app data in Android Settings at any time.
Sharing, advertising and purchases
Diagnostic data is not sent to the developer or sold. Free users may see Google Mobile Ads after the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) consent flow; Pro users see no ads. You can review applicable ad privacy choices in the app. An optional one-time Pro purchase is processed by Google Play; payment data is handled under Google's privacy policy.
Your choices and security
Notification-listener access is optional and may be revoked in Android Settings; the app explains it before you enable it. Android notification permission is only for Notify Doctor's own guidance/status alerts. Data remains on your device. We use platform protections and HTTPS where network communication with Google services is required. No diagnostic data is transferred internationally because it is not uploaded.
